How to Order


Our shipping season extends from early May to end of September
( dependent on weather )
Prepaid advance orders for shipping, will be accepted beginning April 11, 2017.
( We do not hold spring orders through the winter months. )

Order Processing :

  1. Remember that any incomplete or incorrect information will delay the processing of your order.
  2. Use the SECURE on-line order form, available by CLICKING HERE. This is the most efficient way to process your order. [ If you get weird warnings, read this. ]
  3. VISA and Master Card are the only accepted forms of payment for orders that require shipping.
  4. Allow up to one week for a reply indicating the status of your order.
  5. There is a dropoff charge of $5.00 on all orders that require shipping.
  6. Orders are usually shipped out each Monday during the shipping season. Available shipping dates are found on our Order Form.
  7. Order costs will be charged after order confirmation, and shipping costs will be charged at cost, once the order has been shipped.
  8. PLEASE do not ask us for shipping quotes, as this varies greatly depending on plant sizes, location, etc.

Canadian Orders

  1. We typically ship via Expedited Parcel, as it is the cheapest method to ship. Note that East and West coast orders will be sent via Express Post to ensure same-week arrival.
  2. There is a minimum of $50.00 on any order within Canada which requires shipping, before applicable taxes. However, for any local show that we are attending, there is no minimum order restriction.
  3. All plants are shipped "in pot". Bare root requests will incur additional charges.
  4. We do NOT ship supplies.

Continental U.S. Orders

  1. Our nursery is fully certified for export. You do not require any permits, since our paperwork covers everything.
  2. All catalog prices are in Canadian dollars.
  3. All plants in our catalog can be included in foreign shipments (no supplies allowed).
  4. There is a minimum order of $250.00 on any order that requires shipping. However, for any show/event that we are attending, there is no minimum order restriction.
  5. There is a charge of $15.00 for Phytosanitary and CITES paperwork into the U.S. for all continental states excluding California and Arizona. This charge is $25.00 for California and Arizona.
  6. Credit card companies will automatically convert charges from Canadian funds at your current credit card exchange rate.
  7. All plants are shipped "in pot". Bare root requests will incur additional charges.

U.S. Protectorates (including Hawaii) and International Orders

  1. Our nursery is fully certified for export.
  2. All catalog prices are in Canadian dollars.
  3. All plants in our catalog can be included in foreign shipments (no supplies allowed).
  4. We currently ship via FedEx.
  5. There is a minimum order of $500.00.
  6. There is a charge of $75.00 for Phytosanitary and CITES documents. Additional documentation requirements or inspections will incur additional charges.
  7. Please specify port of entry, and provide a copy of your import permit at the time of ordering. If the import permit is not written in English, then a translation is also required to allow proper wording to appear on our issued paperwork.
  8. If you live in the non-continental U.S., you may apply for a Plant Import Permit on-line from USDA, APHIS. http://www.aphis.usda.gov
  9. It is your responsibility to inform us of the exact entry requirements for your country. Please check with your local authorities.
  10. Credit card companies will automatically convert charges from Canadian funds at your current credit card exchange rate.
  11. All plants are shipped "bare root".

General Terms and Conditions

  1. All products are subject to applicable Canadian taxes.
  2. Availability of plants is subject to prior sales, and offers may be withdrawn at any time.
  3. This list cancels all previous lists and offers.
  4. All orders are filled on a first-come first-served basis. No additional charges are incurred by order additions. HOWEVER, removing or swapping plants in a confirmed order will incur a restocking charge of $5.00 per plant. Likewise, this also applies to the cancellation of a confirmed order.
  5. We pride ourselves in providing well-established, healthy plants which are true to name.
  6. If damage appears to have occurred in transit, please notify the carrier immediately.
  7. Cloud's Orchids gives no warranty, implied or expressed as to the productivity of any plants. Many of the crosses offered are "cutting-edge" hybrids and it is impossible to predict the exact outcome with absolute certainty.
  8. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Prices and charges may be subject to change at any time.
  9. Due to ever-increasing expenses, ESPECIALLY heat, we are no longer offering wholesale purchasing as of January 1, 2015.
  10. We reserve the right to refuse service.
  11. Any rude, demanding, unreasonable, profane or otherwise uncivilized e-mails will simply be ignored.

Discount Schedule

Plant prices in our catalogue are essentially wholesale prices. For larger quantity orders, the following discount schedule applies : Above amounts are based on plant prices only, exclusive of taxes, documentation, shipping and other applicable charges.
